I am being erased.
Line by line
Hard edge and soft waves
Dulled into the gray of the page.
Remnants of who I was
Remain among the eraser crumbs
Peeking through
Like the sun behind a cloud
I’m grasping at the doodles
Trying to keep the outline
In tact, so I know
Who I was
Currently, I am no one
Doing nothing
Going nowhere
Yet, a blank page is being formed
A white void open to possibilities
What will emerge?
