            A late afternoon, palomino sun

            trots towards a fiery chestnut sunset

            loping up to a starry, blue roan,

nighttime sky

            walking along, then galloping

            into a red dun dawn.

            Daylight canters as the saucy sorrel

            who whinnies for his palomino pal

            2-beat pacing back to the corral.
